Get Involved

Get InvolvedThe Wing to Wing™ Women’s Mentoring Project logo depicts a butterfly because it goes through metamorphosis, a series of developmental stages in order to become an adult. As it goes through these stages of life, it transforms to become one of the most beautiful insects on earth. We believe if a caterpillar can transform into a beautiful butterfly, a woman can transform herself into the person she wants to be.

You can help make this difference in another woman’s life by making a pledge to begin actively mentoring other women. Not sure where to start? No problem! Just download Career Woman, Inc.’s free Mentoring Guide (found in the “Resources” section of this website) and then look around you...there are women everywhere who could use your mentoring help.

You can offer mentoring support to women at work, women in your church, women in local associations, women in your community, and young women attending colleges in your area. You can volunteer your time or expertise to support local women’s shelters or wonderful not-for-profit organizations like Dress for Success® or the YWCA. All you need is an open heart, the ability to listen, and the passion to help another woman transform her life.

Find your “calling” in mentorship?  Lisa Quast’s award-winning book “Your Career, Your Way” is the perfect foundation for mentoring other women.  A roadmap for achieving career success, mentors read the book and provide it to their mentees, working through the exercises together and using it as a basis for discussions.
